Do You Lack Vitamin D?

Vitamin D is essential for good health. It does everything from building healthy bones to boosting your immune system.

Yet, according to this New York Times article, so many people are deficient of this vital nutrient.
"Every tissue in the body, including the brain, heart, muscles and immune system, has receptors for vitamin D, meaning that this nutrient is needed at proper levels for these tissues to function well.

The lifestyle of many people prevents them from getting enough vitamin D every day. Little things like not wearing sunglasses or taking a thirty minute walk outside during your lunch break can help make sure you're getting enough of this essential nutrient.
