The Slob Song

A musician named Steve Far immortalized the theory of weight gain in a song:

The Slob Song

Its a calorie and a calorie out, thats what they say with all their facts,
Trips to the gym, following the pyramid, but your just too damn fat,
Fruits and Veggies, breads and grains, starch and cereal, and stuff like that
lean, light, no fat, low fat, get outa the house, go run on a track

More sugar we got, more insulin we need,
The more resistant our body is,
Well thats more insulin our body needs,
Insulin the fat storing hormone

[ Chorus ]

Carbs turn to sugar,
Which enters your blood,
Higher the sugar the more insulin,
So don't forget the bottom of the pyramid,
Thats cereal, grains, rice and pasta

[ Chorus ]

To keep sugar down,
There's insulin there,
But organs are starving here,
You have to eat more,
So your fat enough,
To overcome insulin resistance

[ Chorus ]

Then one day body overworked,
You cannot produce enough insulin
diabetic, but all you need,
More insulin pumped in your blood stream

[ Chorus ]

You eat because your a lazy slob,
It doesn't matter the chemistry involved,
So eat your cereal,
Drink the fruit drinks,
And keep your eye on your cholesterol!

[ Chorus ]
