Iron Intake By Women May Help Protect Against PMS

At University of Massachusetts Amherst and Harvard, a clinical trial with 3,000 women evaluated whether mineral intake could affect symptoms of PMS.

Women who consumed higher intakes of non-hem iron, the form found in plant foods, were 30-40% less likely to suffer from PMS.

Nutritional supplements from The AIM Companies™ containing plant foods high in iron include: BarleyLife®, BarleyLife Xtra®, RediBeets® and LeafGreens®.

Note: The study at Harvard also suggested diets high in vitamin B, from food sources, helped reduce the incidence of PMS and will help reduce fatigue during this time.

Peak Endurance® is a great source of vitamin B, as well as daily intake of FloraFood®.

FloraFood® also helps to facilitate absorption of vitamin B.
